Terms at a glance.
These Terms govern your use of PjotsTools, AO.Hub, related downloads, documentation, and connected account or commercial entitlement services. They follow the current AO.Hub flow: new users register and verify once, while already verified users log in directly.
- A confirmed AO.Hub account gives you access to the tools available to that account.
- If your email is already verified, log in instead of registering again.
- You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software.
- You must keep your credentials secure and follow the intended account and install flow.
- Commercial use or studio access can require a separate paid entitlement or seat assignment.
- Redistribution, bypassing checks, or abuse of the service is not allowed.
1. Scope and definitions
"Software" means PjotsTools, AO.Hub, downloads, updates, documentation, bundled assets, and connected services that support installation, account access, and entitlement management.
"Account" means the AO.Hub user profile tied to an email address and, where applicable, a password hash, verification state, entitlements, and commercial status.
"Commercial Use" means use connected to revenue generation, client work, paid production, internal business operations, or studio pipeline activity. "Entitlement" means the access state the system associates with your account, including standard and commercial access.
2. Accounts and access
- New users create an AO.Hub account through the register flow with an email address and password.
- New accounts must confirm the verification email before account-based access is fully enabled.
- If your email is already verified, use the login flow instead of registering again.
- You are responsible for keeping your device, password, and account credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another person or create accounts for abusive purposes.
We may require password reset, re-verification, or additional checks when needed for security or abuse prevention.
3. License grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for the purposes allowed by your account and entitlements.
- The license covers use of the software, not ownership of it.
- The license is tied to the account or entitlement state recognized by AO.Hub.
- All rights not expressly granted remain reserved.
4. Tool availability and standard account access
A confirmed AO.Hub account can access the tools and installs that are currently made available to that account. Tool availability can change over time as products are renamed, reorganized, added, updated, or retired.
Verification and login are part of how AO.Hub decides what to show, install, or unlock. Bypassing that flow, tampering with entitlement checks, or attempting to force access outside the intended account path is prohibited.
5. Commercial use and paid entitlements
Some commercial workflows, studio setups, seats, or paid access levels may require a separate commercial entitlement. If your usage falls into that category, you must obtain and maintain the appropriate entitlement before using those features for commercial purposes.
- One seat normally corresponds to one natural person unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Studios or teams must secure enough seats or access rights for the people using the software.
- AO.Hub and related backend services may check commercial status online so the correct entitlement can be applied.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not redistribute, mirror, resell, rent, sublicense, or publicly re-host the software or paid assets unless we explicitly allow it.
- Do not reverse engineer, tamper with, or bypass account checks, install checks, entitlement checks, rate limits, or security controls beyond what applicable law strictly permits.
- Do not remove copyright, licensing, or attribution notices.
- Do not use the service for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or service-disrupting activity.
7. Updates, naming changes, and service changes
We may update the Software, rename products, modify AO.Hub flows, change available tools, or discontinue features when needed for product, technical, legal, or security reasons.
Some updates may be required for compatibility or security. Continued use after an update or published change means you accept the updated behavior and current terms unless the law requires otherwise.
8. Payments and refunds
If you buy commercial access, subscription services, or other paid entitlements, the price and billing terms shown at checkout apply to that purchase.
- Unless required by law or explicitly stated otherwise, paid entitlements are non-refundable once delivered or activated.
- You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges applicable to your purchase.
- Payment processing is handled by third parties, and their terms can also apply to the transaction itself.
9. Intellectual property and ownership
We retain all intellectual property rights in the Software, branding, downloads, documentation, bundled materials, and connected services. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
You retain ownership of the creative work you make with the Software, but you do not acquire ownership of the Software itself or any proprietary assets that come with it.
10. Disclaimer, suspension, and limitation of liability
The Software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain unchanged.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the service, or create security or operational risk. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant entitlement in the 12 months before the claim, or zero where the law allows and no payment was made.
11. Governing law, provider and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue are in Vienna, Austria, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
